Types of Therapy

Individual

One-on-one weekly 50 minute sessions in which you explore your wounds, your core beliefs, your relationship/attachment styles/patterns, and the hidden things that are hard to look at anywhere else. At the core of individual therapy with me is my belief you have always done, and are currently doing, your very best in the conditions you are in. In session, I follow your emotion to the heart of the matter, and together we look at whatever we find with curiosity, tenderness, and respect.

Couples and Relationships

Our relationships can be both a vessel for safety and also a lightning rod bringing to the surface our most painful wounds and pressing unmet needs. In this duality, our relationships have great potential to surface healing when we have a safe space to be heard. In these weekly 70 minute sessions with your partner(s), we explore your strengths and challenges; locate and tend to your individual wounds that flare up; and practice ways of listening and communicating that deepen intimacy. We look at patterns in your conflicts and intimacy, and search for through-lines from these experiences back into your past so that your relationships can become reparative and healing.

Groups: will launch in the future

  • Teen Talk: a process group for lgbtqia+ teenagers exploring and experiencing their gender or sexual orientation identities. After a weekly check-in where kids can share about their week if they wish, group members will process and explore the theme of the week. Topics will include coming out, transitioning, gender presentation, friend group drama, romantic relationships, parent/family issues, and more.

  • Connected Women: a process group for women who feel emotionally isolated for various reasons and want to practice connecting with others. Here you can give and receive support; work through your struggles; and practice emotional intimacy with other women.
